From Frederick Taylor’s The Principles of Scientific Management in 1911 to The Machine That Changed The World in 1990, the 20th Century was one of relentless focus on – and evolution of – operational excellence.
Improving #management practices and the way organisations work never goes out of fashion, even as brands such as TQM, Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Scrum, Agile come and go.
Is this continual improvement in operational excellence, or just churn?
Either way, we don’t see an end to it any time soon.
I’m proud to be hosting the Operational Excellence and Process Transformation Summit in Hamburg, Germany from 14-16 June 2023, in my role as part of the @Operational Excellence Society.
We’ll be exploring what are really the cutting-edge approaches for positive changes in organisation.
Whether it’s empowering workers, increasing customer satisfaction, or eliminating waste and reducing risks, while completing deadlines and deliveries on time, there’s a lot of ground to cover and – despite all that history – a lot of space for improvement.
We’ll discuss whether modern digital practices can replace proven ‘lean’ strategies.
Is the Lean King dead? Will we cry ‘long Live the ‘Digital’ King!’?
Will we be able to use our techniques to move to a circular economy? Eliminate waste in materials and processes, reuse resources in an intelligent, sustainable manner, and redefine ‘growth’ as ‘improvement’ in everything we do?
This summit from @KEYNOTION will provide you with a platform to learn from world-leading brands through practical, real-world case studies, inspiring international keynote presentations, panel discussions, networking breakout sessions and more.
If you are looking to stay competitive, then you need to be here.
Where are you putting your money? What do you think is the future of operational excellence and process transformation?

My horse won’t win, but it’s called “CoCo” which is a lovely name
