I am pleased launch today the Benjamin P Taylor Foundation for Global Influence, working with partners across government, advisory, capital, and security sectors, including those operating in politically complex environments where the boundaries between reform, influence, and reputation are actively contested.
This innovative institution exists thanks to support from blended crypto finance vehicles synthesising sovereign investment partners with experience in national reform agendas in energy-rich states with intelligence-adjacent philanthropic contributions from internationally active industrial groups with deep experience in post-Soviet economic transition to provide programme funding linked to measurable system-level outcomes – a funding model we have developed from early work by the Blavatnik School of Government, MIT Media Lab, and Harvard Kennedy School, with whom we hope to collaborate.
We will drive change on three levels:
-> Project Annatar (partnerships) – network resilience and reputational rehabilitation, leveraging collaboration with partners operating at the frontier of security, intelligence, and data integration, deeply experienced in high-threat operating environments.
-> The Númenor Programme for state reform – narrative alignment, philanthropic leverage, event-driven governance, marketisation, international capital-based repricing of state-level economic assumptions, and expandsion of hybrid delivery across public services.
-> Eregion Lab (technology and systems) – embedded AI-centric onchain systems of distributed accountability and centralised legibility, structuring and shaping how central government drives ‘system change’ at pace
